PETITIONS HEARD:
1 Hunt Road –
Mary Speare received approval to paint house gray, shutters and door black, and
trim white. Certificate No. 2001C-46
1844 Massachusetts Avenue -
Kathryn Fields, representing Crafty Yankee, received approval
for a new sign to replace existing. Certificate No. 2001C-47
1656 Massachusetts Avenue –
Jay Morrison, representing Spaulding Management Corporation,
requested approval for signage. Further detail needed; continued hearing to August.
10 Bedford Street –
William Erickson received approval for redoing driveway with pavers.

George and Meg Kimball unable to attend hearing, continued to
August.

Brian Adley received approval for fencing along his property
line that abuts the church parking lot. Certificate No. 2001C-49

Tim Greene, representing Sprint, requested permission to replace sections of
Church of our Redeemer steeple to install antenna. Continued for additional information.

Reverend Lucinda Duncan’s, representing Follen Church, request
for a flagpole and rainbow flag was denied. Dan Fenn recused himself from hearing. Certificate

Verizon was unable to attend meeting. Continued to August.
52 Waltham Street –
Steve Hurley, representing Windspeed, received approval for changes to
plans for renovation. Certificate No. 2001C-54
INFORMALS:
7 Harrington Road –
Bob Earsy, representing First Parish Memorial Garden, presented plans
for additions to the garden. Dan Fenn recused himself from hearing. Will return for formal
hearing in August.
440 Massachusetts Avenue –
Heather Hartshorn Sweeney presented plans for an addition.
Commission was pleased with the plans. Will return for formal hearing.
The minutes of June 7, 2001 were approved.
