HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-02-01-HDC-min Town of Lexington Historic Districts Commission Minutes of February 1, 2001 Commissioners in attendance: Ian Adamson, Dan Fenn, Joann Gschwendtner, Lynn Hopkins, and Associate Commissioners Daniel Griffin and Elearnor MacQueen PETITIONS HEARD: 1784 Massachusetts Avenue – Chris Venier, representing Theatre Pharmacy, received approval for a new sign (same colors and size). Certificate No. 2001C-8 1433 Massachusetts Avenue – David Williams received approval for a bluestone cap on the chimney. Certificate No. 2001C-9 12 Hancock Avenue – Nicholas Gall presented plans to demolish existing garage and deck and to build new garage under home with 2-story addition above with new driveway to be shared with neighbor. Certificate No. 2001C-10 10 Hancock Avenue – Scott Kyle presented plans to partially demolish existing detached garage and build a porch/deck and small room addition with garage below with new driveway to be shared with neighbor. Certificate No. 2001C-11 CONTINUED: 905 Massachusetts Avenue – Jack Shay received approval for lighting at front and side door and porch lighting. Certificate No. 2001C-12 INFORMALS: 1062 Massachusetts Avenue – Lynne Marie Sullivan presented plans to move driveway from Plainfield Street to Massachusetts Avenue. Ms. Sullivan needs to check with Town regarding cutting Massachusetts Avenue curbs for possible circular driveway. 1740 Massachusetts Avenue – Jim McCoy, representing Atlas Travel, presented plans for signage.
