Well Request at 25 Marrett St. - Mr. Gaut of 25 Marrett St. had discussed with Fox that
he was running out of water and it was an emergency situation to install a well.
Fox suggested Mr. Gaut attend this Board of Health Meeting to request an emergency
variance. He showed Fox a map of his property but it did not have setbacks or indicate
where his septic system was on the property. Gaut seemed unclear where the septic
system was located. The Board asked Fox to send Mr. Gaut a letter to include the
following:
1. Mr. Gaut must complete a well application to include all required documents.
2. Submit septic system pumping records to the Health Department
3. The domestic well should be tested for safety
4. The Board would like to discuss
Fox gave an FY09 Budget update to the Board. The primary request is for funds to
budget a contractual inspector for higher inspectional seasons.
Fox informed the Board of a recent inspection at Via Lago by Joe Tabbi. Tabbi
recommends meeting with the owners and talk to them about bringing in a food
consultant. Fox said that if Via Lago is reluctant to do this then they can go before the
Board.
MacKenzie motioned to adjourn. Thompson seconded. All approved.
