HomeMy WebLinkAbout2012-01-17-LEXHAB-minLexhab Meeting Minutes for January 17, 2012 Present: R. Burbidge, D. Eagle, W. Hays, W. Kennedy, L. Savage, M. Wood, G. Howell, P. Nelson Meeting Minutes for the December14, 2011 were approved, motion to approve by W. Kennedy and 2nd by M. Wood and so voted unanimously. Treasurer Report was approved as read. Motion to approve by D. Eagle and seconded by M. Wood, and so voted unanimously. Busa Farm Update Carter Scott came before the board - Carter Scott presented preliminary sketches to the board for the proposed units at Busa. - He indicated that housing would consist of 1 accessible unit, 6 2 bedroom units and 1 3 bedroom unit. - We had some neighbors come to the meeting (Igor Tsvetkova and his wife Bella) to listen to the presentation and ask questions about the proposal. - The style will be flats because that gives each unit more square footage, and will allow for the accessible unit plus gives you the back view. - On the site plan there were 2 entrances to each unit the same elevation as the street; each unit is roughly 1190 sq. feet. - Board very impressed with the etchings, and stated we have more than enough information to take to the Selectman meeting. Wilson Rd: Dave Eagle reported as follows: - Front steps and bulkhead need to be replaced - Garage roof needs to be replaced - Guys spent 2 days cutting yard down - Excavating was pretty much done - New electrical service needs to be done - Fairview Bill H. reported as follows - Meeting with Jennifer Von Campen (Watertown Group); is scheduled for late January - Will have more to discuss after the meeting CPC Update - At the meeting, it was discussed that CPC would like to use funds for new construction, not for purchase of existing houses. - Also interested in committing funds to LHA who has come across some land. Gleason Rd and other properties - Phil Shaw the appraiser went out to do an appraisal for the subject property. Mr. Kennedy also viewed the home and stated it was in pretty good shape. - Dave Eagle and Les Savage will try to view a 2 family house on Mass Ave to see if it's something Lexhab would like to purchase. Next Meeting Date is scheduled for February 14 at 8:00am in our office Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted by roll call to go into Executive Session to consider the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property and to reconvene in Open Session only to adjourn. The Chairman further declared that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the Town. Meeting Adjourned at 9:15
