LINCOLN PARK SUB - COMMITTEE Minutes <br />May 10, 2012 4:30 pm <br />Present — David Williams, Chairman, Lynne Wilson, Nell Walker, Brian Kelley, Parker Hirtle <br />Also present — Wendy Rudner, Recreation, Wesley Wirth, Landscape Architect, Bob Barnard, Landscape <br />Contractor, Vanessa Tropeano, Parterre, Bob Pressman <br />Mr. Williams opened the meeting at 4:35. Mr. Barnard introduced Ms. Tropeano. The committee <br />discussed the proposal for maintenance presented by Mr. Barnard. He explained that Ms. Tropeano will <br />be on site for approximately one hour each time Mr. Barnard's landscape crew was working. In <br />addition, one Parterre employee will work with Mr. Barnard's crew at each visit. There was a lengthy <br />discussion about maintenance and possible additional plantings. <br />Motion — Lynne Wilson moved to hire Barnard Landscape Contractor for Lincoln Park maintenance. <br />Brian Kelley seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. <br />Dog signs — Mr. Williams showed the committee the new signs. There was a discussion about locating <br />the signs. <br />Bathrooms — Mr. Kelley opened the discussion about the fact that the donations received through the <br />Lions Club will not be tax deductible. Therefore, Mr. Williams asked that large donations come to the <br />Lincoln Park Committee. Levels of contributions were discussed. Mr. Kelley told the group that LexFun <br />had agreed to assist in soliciting donations from businesses, etc. <br />Wesley presented the text for the proposed signs at the entrances and at the podium area. He also said <br />that Weston Nurseries will replace the azaleas that were lost over the winter. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 4:35.
