<br />PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br />MEETING OF APRIL 30, 2012 <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning Board, held in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room, <br />Town Office Building, was called to order at 6:32 p.m. by Chairman Richard Canale with <br />members Greg Zurlo, Wendy Manz, and Charles Hornig and planning staff Maryann McCall- <br />Taylor, Aaron Henry and Lori Kaufman present. Michelle Ciccolo was absent. <br /> <br />********************************TOWN MEETING******************************* <br />Article 34, 2027 and 2013 Massachusetts Avenue/Dana Home: <br /> <br />The Board discussed the draft report to Town Meeting which included the following changes: <br /> <br /> The Applicant will institute a multi-modal transportation plan to encourage fewer <br />automobile trips to address potential on-street parking problems with nearby residences. <br /> <br /> The Applicant will provide landscaping between the Isaac Mulliken house and the <br />abutting residential district to the northeast. <br /> <br /> The Board conditions it approval of the project on recommendations that it expects to be <br />incorporated in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the applicant and <br />the Town. These recommendations are incorporated in the Board’s proposed draft MOU <br />attached as Appendix A. <br /> <br /> Add to the report the Fire Department has indicated that the plan provides sufficient <br />access for their equipment. <br />The Board discussed the proposed draft MOU to be submitted to the Board of Selectmen to <br />negotiate with the Applicant and includes the following changes: <br /> <br /> The Applicant will prepare the necessary engineering plans and submit a request to the <br />Conservation Commission to amend the Order of Conditions and any other permit, which <br />maybe necessary to implement driveway improvements for the Worthen Road driveway <br />as outlined by the Town Engineer in his memorandum of April 18, 2012. <br /> <br /> The Applicant is providing $10,000 for nearby roadway infrastructure improvement as <br />requested by the Town Engineer. Anything not used within three years of the approval of <br />the DSDUP will be returned to the Applicant. <br /> <br /> The PTDM plan to be created and implemented by the Applicant will be multimodal. <br /> <br /> The Applicant will manage all on-site parking spaces to assure all overnight guests have <br />off-street parking spaces. <br /> <br />
