NOISE ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />DRAFT Meeting Minutes <br />10 April 2012 <br />A duly posted meeting of the Noise Advisory Committee (NAC), held in Legion Room, Cary <br />Hall, was called to order at 7:30 pm by chairman Tony Galaitsis with members Jack Maloney <br />and Mary Hosmer Fanucci, and Planning Board liaison Richard Canale present. <br />Minutes of previous meeting (3/20/2012) <br />On a motion duly made and seconded, the NAC approved the minutes unanimously. <br />Continued Discussion of proposed Nighttime roofing work at 191 Spring St. <br />The NAC continued briefly the 3/20/12 hearing on the night -time roofing project proposed <br />for 191 Spring St. However, Mr. Bowers or any other representative of 191 Old Spring St, <br />were unable to attend the meeting. Accordingly, on a motion duly made and seconded, the <br />NAC tabled the case until a 191 Old Spring St representative has the opportunity to address <br />the outstanding issues of the petition. <br />Discussion of proposed Noise -By -Law (NBL) Updates <br />Further discussion of this subject was deferred to next meeting. It was agreed that Noise By- <br />Law updates also include review and update, as needed, of the Application Forms for a <br />Special Permit under the Noise By -Law. <br />The subsequent discussion included brief reviews of Noise By -laws from other towns as <br />follows: <br />• Wellesley, Worcester and Cambridge (by M. Hosmer) <br />• Littleton and Boston by R. Canale <br />The Mass EPA form on odor, noise and dust and the form on noise limits were distributed to <br />the NAC members by R.
