Mr. <br />Vandermark requested to lower the blade sign to the level of the transom windows. <br />The Commission voted 5-0 to <br />issue a certificate of appropriateness for two signs a wall sign and a blade sign. Certificate No. 2011C-5 <br />Voting Commissioners were: Alfonso Hernandez, Daniel Griffin, and Robert Warshawer and Associate Commissioners <br />Acting Chairman-Carl Oldenburg and Scott Kyle. <br /> <br /> <br />1690 Massachusetts Avenue <br />Kevin McMann, Panera Bread, presented drawings of the changes to <br />- map 48 lot 31: <br />the north, east and south facades of the building as well as photographs from their Newton store which uses <br />some of the same materials proposed here. The commission wants to see more specific details of the materials <br />used. A few examples: samples of the tile, brickwork, capstones, what color the spandrel glass is going to be <br />and cut sheets of items like lighting, and the storefront system. One commissioner did not believe that four <br />signs was appropriate for this particular location and stated that he would not approve the requested blade sign. <br />Panera continued until the March 3, 2011 hearing. <br /> <br />9 Brigham Road- <br />:Chip Webster, representing, David & Judy Crayer, presented permit ready <br />map 56 lot 214 <br />drawings dated January 27, 2011 showing the existing conditions of the house and plans for replacing the <br />screened porch between the main house and garage with a One and a half story addition. All the details of the <br />existing house will be matched in the addition and all windows will be replaced using wood simulated divided <br />light.
