MINUTES <br />FUND FOR LEXINGTON <br />SEPTEMBER 18, 2002 <br />Present: Lucas, Krieger, McKenna, Walsh <br />1. Steve Baran Requests: <br />a. $600 to pay of loan for IN; Fund opted not to pay rent deposit, since IN is <br />no longer a Lexington resident <br />b. pay $790 for medical costs to regularize immigration status <br />2. Other Business <br />- Approved May 15, 2002 meeting minutes <br />- Approved annual $3,000 contribution to the Food Pantry <br />- Jeanne Krieger agreed to write solicitation letter <br />3. Next Meeting Wednesday December 18, 4:30 p.m. <br />4. New Business - Proposed actions to solicit more clients. Jeanne Krieger will <br />contact women who run food pantry. We may post a notice at the Food Pantry for <br />residents to contact Steve Baran if they need help. Jeanne Kreiger will also <br />contact the Chair of the Interfaith Council for suggestions. <br />
