MINUTES <br />FUND FOR LEXINGTON BOARD <br />December 18, 2002 <br />4:30 p.m., Selectmen's Office <br />Present: Krieger, Lucas, McKenna, Walsh, Baran <br />1. Requests for funds from Steve Baran: <br />a. $4,530 for second installment of dental services —Pat Keller (alias) —NOT <br />APPROVED <br />b. $1,850 for hearing aid —Mary Kearns - APPROVED <br />C. $1,690 for day care — Michelle Huang - APPROVED <br />d. $1,000 for Human Services Fund - APPROVED <br />e. $1,200 for two months rent — Rachel Sterns — APPROVED (3 -1, McKenna <br />opposed) <br />2. The following votes were ratified: <br />a. $580 living expenses for two weeks lost salary due to illness (Judy Powell) <br />b. $400 for Women Veterans luncheon <br />C. $1200 for East Village 2002 holiday decoration program <br />3. Other Business <br />- Approved minutes of September 18, 2002 meeting <br />- Steve Baran is retiring January 2, 2002. Steve has been a staunch advocate for <br />Human Services and we have benefited from his insight and concern. <br />4. Next Meeting — March 12, 2003 at 4:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Office <br />
