<br /> Minutes of the Lexington Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Selectmen’s Meeting Room, Lexington Town Hall <br />April 14, 2011 <br /> <br /> <br />Board Members Present: Chairman - Nyles N. Barnert, John J. McWeeney, David G. Williams, <br />Carolyn C. Wilson and Martha C. Wood <br /> <br />Staff Present: David L. George, Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />Petition Address: 101 Bertwell Road, Map 78, Lot 214 <br /> <br />Petitioner submitted the following with the application for hearing: nature and justification of <br />request; topographic plan; plot plan; elevations and photographs. <br /> <br />Prior to the hearing, the petition and supporting data were reviewed by the Building <br />Commissioner, Conservation Administrator, Town Engineer, Health Director, Board of <br />Selectmen, the Zoning Administrator, the Planning Administrator and the Historic Districts <br />Commission Clerk. Comments were received from the Building Commissioner and the Zoning <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />The Chairman opened the hearing at 7:30 pm by reading the legal notice and described <br />information received from the petitioner relative to the petition. <br /> <br />Deanna and Eric Campbell, owners of the property, presented the petition explaining the <br />planned addition. <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting a Variance in accordance with 135-35A, Table 2, Schedule of <br />Dimensional Controls of the Zoning Bylaw to allow a front yard setback of 24' instead of the <br />rquired 30 ft. <br />The Chairman asked for clarification as to what was happening with the extension that was <br />being taken down and replaced. <br /> <br />A Board member asked about the stairs referenced by the Building Department. They are <br />planning just a stone step up or regarding so that there is no step. The Zoning Administrator <br />requested the applicant go to the Building Department with the plans so they can determine if <br />they would need another variance. <br /> <br />There were no questions from the audience. <br /> <br />Mary Burnell of 40 Eaton Road spoke in support of the petition. <br /> <br />No one spoke in opposition of the petition. <br /> <br />The hearing was duly closed. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
