Suzie will check to see if there is space available.

Veterans’ Day 2011 updates

Thursday’s rain saturated town grounds and fields; therefore, the various town

departments involved decided that it was best to cancel Friday’s parade and hold
the ceremony indoors at Cary Hall. All participants have been notified of the
change in plans.

Mary Gillespie will have two copies of all contest essays bound for distribution,

one to Cary Library and one to the veterans’ organization.

Since Bridge and Bowman students will not be available to help hand flowers to

attending veterans, boy and girl scouts will be asked to assist.
