Minutes <br />Fund for Lexington <br />November 17, 2000 <br />Present: Krieger, McKenna, Walsh, and Colletti <br />Stephen Baran, Human Services Coordinator <br />Next Meeting: Monday, March 19, 2001 <br />Requests from Human Services Coordinator: <br />1. Kathleen Maris - No funds requested. Human Service Coordinator will <br />continue to work with client to ensure she receives financial advisement to <br />better manage her assets and expenses. <br />2. Pamela Maynard - Granted request of up to $3,750 for repairs to roof and <br />chimney, replacement of doors and installation of locksets. Client will <br />receive assistance with managing her assets and budget. Eligibility for <br />insurance claims settlement will be determined. Bills to be paid directly to <br />vendors. <br />3. NN- request for rent payment denied. Committee felt it was appropriate <br />for the husband's income to be used to help client's situation. Committee <br />requested client be enrolled in appropriate mental health program. Client <br />has applied for Section 8- voucher program. <br />Request for East Village Blooming Flower Barrel Program: approved <br />Request for reimbursement for Plantings paid by Gilmore Fund: approved <br />Other Items: <br />1. A proposal for enhancing the Tax Write Off Program will be circulated for <br />discussion at a future meeting. It was suggested that an income /expense <br />statement be distributed to the Committee to help put these requests in <br />context. <br />Fund Balance: (as of September 30, 2000) <br />Principal: $10,730.93 <br />Income: $23,795.33 <br />
