Tourism Committee Meeting <br />Town of Lexington <br />January 10, 2011 <br />Present: Carla Fortmann, Kerry Brandin, Paul O' Shaughnessy, Susan Bennett, John Patrick, <br />Mary Gillespie, Dawn McKenna, Mary Jo Bohart, Masha Traber <br />Absent: Bebe Fallick, Coleen McAdam, Lou Sideris, Jim Shaw <br />1. Upon motion duly made and seconded, the following minutes were reviewed and accepted: <br />November 1, 2010 and December 13, 2010 <br />2. Business visits: <br />Favorable reports from participating organizations & businesses β€” request to complete the visits <br />as soon as possible <br />3 A.French Faire -Date Feb 13, 2011 at Depot β€” 4 β€” 6:30 PM <br />a) possibility of 2 auction items <br />b) entertainment <br />c) French consul to attend <br />4. Lexington Brochure <br />Upon Motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to change photo on brochure to a picture of <br />the trolley for the upcoming season. <br />5. Committee reviewed "Linger in Lexington" program <br />6. AAA Market Place β€”the committee will have a booth at their exhibition at Foxboro Stadium <br />March 4, 5, 6 2011. Committee members are to come to next meeting with ideas for <br />a) Booth design <br />b) Merchandise items <br />c) Handouts <br />d) Individuals willing to be scheduled to man booth <br />7. MOTT Sponsorship - $2000 subject to available fundraising <br />
