Lexington Tourism Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Monday, January 11, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. <br />Room 111 <br />Members Present: Kerry Brandin, John Patrick, Dawn McKenna <br />Absent: Bebe Fallick, Lou Sideris, Susan Bennett, Mary Jo Bohart, , Carla Fortmann, <br />Kathleen James, Paul O'Shaughnessy, Selectmen Liaison Peter Kelley <br />Since there was not a quorum present, no votes could be taken. Informal discussion <br />covered the following topics: <br />1. Kerry will contact Paul Kingsford to see if he can help re- design the Lexington ad for <br />the homepage of bostonusa.com. <br />2. Dawn had quotes to re -print the Town of Lexington map that ranged from $2100 for <br />10,000 to $7000 for 50,000 copies. Kerry will contact artist Sheryl White to see if she is <br />interested in making sketches of the Library and the Liberty Ride. <br />3. Liberty Ride <br />a. Ads for bostonusa.com and the printed Official Visitor Guide for Greater Boston <br />are up for renewal. <br />b. CTM will be invited to present at the next meeting on electronic ticketing. <br />c. A poll -vote by email will need to be conducted on the dates and hours of <br />operation of the Liberty Ride so publicity can get underway. <br />d. Business at the Concord Visitor Center stop should be tracked prior to a <br />determination as to whether to maintain that stop. <br />4.
