The committee will recruit <br />older participants. <br />Linda Dixon’s recruitment flyer will be distributed and discussed at next <br /> <br />week’s meeting. <br /> <br />The application will be available on line. <br />Fund-raising <br /> <br />Linda raised the issue regarding need for more aggressive fund-raising for <br />parade sponsorship. <br /> <br />Suzie will ask Mary Jo Bohart at the Chamber of Commerce to provide a <br />complete list of Lexington businesses for possible solicitation. <br />Memorial Day 2012 <br /> <br />Julie Miller has contacted her suggestion for chief marshal and will keep us <br />apprised. <br /> <br />Jim Shaw shared with the committee his idea of who we might invite to be <br />guest speaker. <br />Patriots’ Day 2013 <br /> <br />Participating groups have been notified of the change of parade day (from <br />Monday back a day to Sunday), 2013 only. <br /> <br />There will need to be a change to announcements of White Hat, Minuteman <br />2 <br /> <br />
