MINUTES <br />Greenways Corridor Committee ACROSS Lexington Task Group <br />December 22, 2011, 4-5:3 0 pm <br />Room 111 Town Hall <br />Members Present: Rick Abrams, Alex Dohan, Eileen Entin, Keith Ohmart <br />Subject Discussed: Across Lexington project. Discussion only, no votes taken. <br />1. Next round of presentation meetings: <br />a. Meet with Town Manager, Carl Valente <br />- review concept <br />- confirm continued access to Emily Schadler <br />- request future access to Judy Seppala, town GIS person, DPW re <br />installation of street signage <br />- GCC web site — would like to post map and information <br />eventually <br />b. Meet with Karen Mullins <br />- review concept <br />- confirm continued access to Emily Schadler <br />c. Meet with Sidewalk Committee <br />- review concept, solicit feedback <br />- Safe Routes to School <br />2. Future presentation targets: <br />- Design Advisory Committee <br />- Planning Board <br />- Bicycle Advisory Committee <br />- Tourism Committee <br />- Historic District Committee <br />- Center Committee <br />- Chamber of Commerce <br />- Town Meeting <br />3. Site Visit Walk — It was decided to conduct a walk on one of the loops being <br />considered as the first loop to establish in order to record the likely number of <br />signs and sign posts needed to mark the loop. Meet at the Fletcher Avenue gate on <br />the Minuteman Bikeway, January 4, 1 pm. Keith will borrow the Trimble unit <br />from Emily. Information collected will then be given to Mike to develop an <br />estimated budget for purchasing sign materials. <br />4. Suggested map edits: <br />- identify bike /pedestrian alternate routes as needed <br />
