- Page 6. Use of FAMV, and how it can be used needs to be much clearer. <br />- Page 7. The PD's authority to recall officers from vacation or other leave should <br />be outlined more specifically in this section, or another area. <br />- Page 8. Defining the "Equitable Ordering List" is needed with clearer language <br />on what it means, and how it is applied. <br />- Page 9. VI -B "outside peak vacation periods" use have added "as defined by <br />contract." Similar additional language on VI -C, "in conformance with existing <br />contract language." <br />- Page 10. The Crossing Guard use of leave makes no sense to the general reader. <br />Should be written more specifically. <br />- Page 12, Define "banks" and "counters ". <br />- Page 13. Bold text printed in scrambled fashion. <br />Should add list or procedure of authorized /approved towing agencies. <br />Section III, Page 3. This section on towing motor vehicles is duplicitous of policy <br />61C. <br />62A — Motor Vehicle Crash Investigations <br />- Page 3. Department Policy on Emergency Response should be referenced as an <br />attachment to the "duties of the first officers on scene." <br />- Page 4, 1 x. This item is not clear that officer has authorization to leave town to <br />follow an ambulance to get statements from victims. <br />- Page 6, top of page under "Note." The potential need for a search warrant to seize <br />"airbag control module" needs to be clarified, and capture any situation where an <br />search warrant may be needed for motor vehicle computer devices. <br />- Page 9. What training do officers have in assessing whether vehicle damage is <br />over $1,000? <br />- Page 10. Spell out "CAD." <br />72E — Holding Facility <br />No discussion of providing meals to prisoners. Is it captured in another policy; <br />maybe reference this policy. <br />Page 2; Evacuation Plan. There should be procedures for doing a drill and <br />making sure all emergency equipment and procedures actually work. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
