Minutes Town Celebrations Committee September 8, 2011 Legion Room, Cary Hall Members present Suzie Barry, Jo-Anne Granger, Sondra Lucente, Julie Miller, Wayne Miller, Bill Mix, Henry Murphy, Sandy Podgorski, Charlie Price and Bob Tracey Members not present Dick Crogan, Linda Dixon, Mary Gillespie, Paul Jenkins, Jim Shaw and Dave Taylor Business  Suzie Barry called the meeting to order at 7 pm.  The August 17, 2011 minutes were accepted.  A list of committee meeting dates through December 2011 was distributed.  Membership contact information was updated.  Elections  Suzie Barry was nominated and accepted for the position of committee chair.  Bob Tracey was nominated and accepted for the position of vice committee chair.  Sandy Podgorski and Linda Dixon were nominated and accepted to share the position of secretary, pending Linda’s agreement to do so.  Julie Miller will contact the Commission on Disabilities to ask which of our meetings a representative of theirs can attend.  Bill Mix will contact the Minutemen Executive Board to ask which of our meetings a representative of theirs can attend to discuss seating arrangement and additional accommodation at the reenactment.  Suzie has scheduled a meeting with the DPW to discuss the Memorial Day lapses.  TCC members are invited to the Fire Department headquarters on Sunday for th the September 11 event. 1
