Davies, Chairman <br />Design Advisory Committee <br />Subject: Interested designers needed to work with sub - committees of the <br />Planning Board <br />The Planning Board has established or is establishing a number of sub - committees <br />to review the Town's position on various planning issues, and they have asked <br />the DAC to solicit the help of designers from the Group membership to work as <br />advisors to certain of these sub - committees. Specifically, the need is as <br />follows: <br />1. Street Standard <br />This job is being undertaken under the direction of Al Zabin, <br />and he has requested help from the DAG immediately. <br />2. Parking <br />Sub - committee not yet formed, but planned for the near future. <br />3. Recreation <br />Citizens Advisory Group not yet formed, but The Planning Services <br />Group has been retained as professional consultant to survey <br />recreation needs. <br />4. Subdivision Regulations <br />Sub - Committee not yet formed, but planned for in the near future. <br />This will be an important study and could benefit greatly from <br />DAG participation. <br />Anyone with knowledge or experience in these areas and who's willing to spend <br />some time working with the Board should contact Marion Snow or Ken Briggs at the <br />Planning Board office. <br />
