TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br />TRUSTEES OF PUBLIC TRUSTS <br />Minutes of Meeting <br />September 5, 2001 <br />A meeting of the Trustees was held at 8: 00 AM at the home of Alan Fields at 42 <br />Adams Street, Lexington. Present were Alan Fields, David Williams and Thomas Taylor, <br />and Secretary Karen Jackman. <br />The minutes of the April 26, 2001 meeting were approved. <br />The Endowment Fund Portfolio Report as of 8/31/01 was reviewed. It shows a <br />total return of 2.22% year to date. It was voted to approve the purchases and sales shown <br />on pages 10 and 11 of the Report. <br />Alan is talking with State Street Bank about possibly taking over management of <br />the funds. A meeting will be scheduled in the future. <br />It was voted to approve the transfer of $2500 Steve Baran; $1000 from the <br />Lexington Human Services Fund and $1500 from the Bridge Charitable Fund. <br />It was voted to accept the Jacqueline Toye Hoiriis Scholarship Fund on the terms <br />set forth in a letter dated May 23, 2001, a copy of which is attached to these minutes. <br />Next meeting to be at the call of the Chairman in early October. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Tom Taylor <br />
