PLANNING BOARD MINUTES
SITE VISIT OF JULY 9, 2011

A site visit by the Lexington Planning Board was held at 1377 Massachusetts Avenue at 8:30 a.m.
Planning Board members Richard Canale, Charles Hornig, and Wendy Manz, and planning staff
Maryann McCall-Taylor were present.

The development team of Richard Waitt, Brian Timm and Todd Cataldo provided a walkthrough
of the site, concentrating on the location of the common driveway, its impact on trees that
currently screen the property from its abutters and on the feasibility of access to the bike path at
the rear of the property.

Mr. Breitenfeld, an abutter, was present for most of the site walk, expressing his concerns about
screening his property. He wants enough space left between the common drive and the property
line to provide for a staggered row of trees. The trees would need to be on the development
property as his driveway is too close to his property line to allow planting of trees.

The site visit was recorded by Lexmedia.

The following documents used at the site visit are on file with the Planning Department:
1. “Tree Inventory Plan” 1377 Massachusetts Avenue (Assessor’s Map 39 – Lots 64 & 65)
Definitive Subdivision, dated 7/11/11.
2. “Site Construction/Landscape Plan” 1377 Massachusetts Avenue (Assessor’s Map 39 –
Lots 64 & 65) Definitive Subdivision, dated 7/11/11.

Wendy Manz, Acting Clerk
