<br /> <br />Town of Lexington <br />Historic Districts Commission <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes of January 5, 2006 <br /> <br /> <br />Voting Commissioners in attendance: Joseph Welch - Chairman, Ian Adamson, Mark DiNapoli, <br />Lynn Hopkins and Associate Commissioner Daniel Griffin. <br /> <br />Associate Commissioners also present but not voting: James Lee and Carl Oldenburg <br /> <br />Clerk, Dianne Cornaro opened the meeting with the election of the new Chairman. With a <br />motion from Ian Adamson and seconded by Lynn Hopkins, Joseph Welch was unanimously <br />elected Chairman. <br /> <br />PETITIONS HEARD: <br /> <br />FORMAL HEARINGS <br /> <br />15-17 Depot Square – <br />Gary Barbati of Crosby Signs, representing Helen Edwards of ReMax <br />Premier Properties, continued hearing for new signage. <br /> <br />CONTINUED HEARINGS <br /> <br />1730 Massachusetts Avenue <br /> – Joel Werrick, representing JJ & R Realty, received approval for <br />window changes. Certificate Number 2006C-1 <br /> <br />INFORMALS <br /> <br /> <br />1720 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Eric Shapiro, AKA Battle Green Inn, discussed The Commons <br />in Lexington project. Mr. Shapiro agreed to withdraw his application for a formal hearing for <br />February. Signed and dated application on record. <br /> <br />1666 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Debra Sharkey, representing Nextel Communications, discussed <br />installation of wireless communication equipment. <br /> <br />1454 Massachusetts Avenue <br /> – Bart Graff discussed a garage addition to his home. <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes from the December 2006 meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:10 PM <br /> <br />1625 MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE • LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS 02420 <br />
