MINUTES – LEXINGTON CONSERVATION COMMMISSION May 10, 2011 Commissioners present: Joyce Miller, Stew Kennedy, Phil Hamilton, Duke Bitsko, David Langseth, Dick Wolk Commissioners Absent: Charlie Wyman Others present: Karen Mullins, Conservation Administrator; Louise Vinci, Conservation Clerk Chair Joyce Miller opened the meeting at 7:35 pm in Room G-15, Town Office Building 7:35 pm Hearing: NOI, 17 Stedman Road (Clark Middle School), DEP# 201-821, BL 779 Present for the applicant: Sergio DeMango, Public Facilities Department Benny Hung, World Tech Engineering Documentation: Notice of Intent with attachments Email from Karen Simmons, Parks & Recreation Director, dated May 10, 2011 Town Engineering Department comments Public Notice Joyce Miller read public notification into record. Benny Hung presented a plan to re-align a parking lot and sidewalks to provide easier access to buses and provide a safe walking route from the northerly parking lot to the school. Comments from the Commission follow: Joyce Miller read letter from Karen Simmons into record. Mr. DeMango agreed that the Recreation Departments concerns would need to be revisited. The Commission asked for pervious concrete examples and sidewalk design details.
