<br />MINUTES – LEXINGTON CONSERVATION COMMMISSION March 22, 2011 <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioners present: Joyce Miller, Stew Kennedy, Phil Hamilton, Duke Bitsko, Charlie <br />Wyman <br /> <br />Absent: David Langseth <br /> <br />Others present: Karen Mullins, Conservation Administrator; Louise Vinci, Conservation Clerk <br /> <br />Vice-chair Phil Hamilton opened the meeting at 7:30 pm in Room G-15, Town Office Building <br /> <br />7:30 pm Meeting: RDA, Town-wide Locations, <br /> DET# 11-04 <br />Documentation: Request for Determination of Applicability with attachments <br />Present for the applicant: Michael Flamang, Lexington Engineering Department <br /> <br />Michael Flamang presented plans for a town-wide sewer manhole maintenance <br />project. Work would consist of excavating around manholes, repairing masonry, <br />and wrapping. Mr. Flamang also asked permission to enter Dunback Meadow <br />from Clematis Road. <br /> <br />During discussion Mr. Flamang identified that a VAC truck with a 600 foot hose <br />would be used to remove debris, and that materials would be carried to the project <br />location in buckets. Mr. Flamang also stated that the engineering department <br />would reappear before the Commission if the VAC truck required off road access. <br />Work would begin either right away or in the summer after the wet season <br />concluded. <br />Motion made and seconded to issue negative determination with conditions, 6-0 <br />in favor. <br /> <br /> <br />7:43 pm Cont. Hearing: ANRAD, 38 Adams Street <br /> DEP# 201-810, BL 768, Map 63, Lot 106 <br />Present for the applicant: Rick Fulop, applicant <br />Documentation: Revised Site Plan of Land, dated March 15, 2011 <br /> On-site Soil Investigations Report, dated March 19, 2011 <br /> <br />Karen Mullin updated the Commission on the results of Peter Fletcher’s Soils <br />Investigation Report and the Commission reviewed the revised delineation. <br /> <br />Comments from the audience: Abby James, 17 Coolidge Avenue, pointed out that <br />the 50’ buffer line was mislabeled “No disturbance zone” and the wetland <br />boundary was mislabeled “No build zone”. <br />Motion made and seconded to close the hearing, 6-0 in favor. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />
