<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes of Board of Registrars <br />Meeting of November 15, 2004 – 1:30 p.m. <br />Town Office Building – Selectmen’s Meeting Room <br />Tally of Out-of-Country Ballots - November 2, 2004 State Election <br /> <br /> <br />Present: Luanna Devenis ( R), Chairman; Ann H. Miller ( R); Donna Hooper (D), Clerk <br /> <br />Chairman Luanna Devenis called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Registrars called the meeting for the sole purpose of tallying out-of-country ballots <br />received after, but within 10 days of, the close of polls for the November 2, 2004 <br />State Election as instructed by state statute. Results will be sent to the Secretary of <br />State as part of Lexington’s November 2, 2004 election results. <br /> <br /> <br /> Meeting was held in the absence of Registrar Mary C. Abegg who died suddenly on <br />November 11, 2004 after 22 years of service as a Registrar. <br /> <br /> <br />Luanna Devenis, Ann Miller, and Donna Hooper counted 43 out-of-country/overseas <br />ballots. Also tallied were 5 provisional ballots for which the Town Clerk, after <br />research, deemed eligible voters. Results were provided for inclusion in the Official <br />Election Results to be reported to the Secretary of State. <br /> <br />Present was one public viewer. <br />Meeting adjourned at 2:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> <br />Donna M.
