Hooper, Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting of the Board of Registrars <br />June 24, 2002 <br />Town Office Building – Room 111 <br /> <br /> <br />Present: Mary Abegg, Chairman <br /> Luanna Devenis <br /> Connie Foster <br /> Donna Hooper, Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />The June 24, 2002 meeting of the Board of Registrars was called to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />Chairman Mary Abegg addressed the issue re: election officers and offered to continue to serve <br />as Chairman should the membership so desire. Following a few comments and unanimous vote, <br />Mary Abegg was reelected as Chairman. <br /> <br />Donna Hooper summarized progress of the state redistricting and Reprecincting. <br />th <br />After brief comments on any issues regarding the Special Election of June 24, the high volume <br />of turnout it has drawn, discussion shifted to Election Officer appointments. <br /> <br />Connie Foster suggested contacting Nancy Hubert, 29 Volunteer Way, who has expressed an <br />interest in serving. Donna Hooper also proposed the name of Joan Blankenheim, 40 Emerson <br />Gardens as a possible candidate for appointment. <br /> <br />After reviewing the listing of current officers, and making a few adjustments, the Board voted <br />unanimously to authorize the list be recommended to the Selectmen for appointment, along with <br />Ms. Hubert and Blankenheim if interested. <br /> <br />Donna Hooper explained the intent to present the list to the Selectmen for appointment at their <br />meeting sometime in July or early August. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned until 2003 annual meeting at 7:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br />Donna M.
