<br />Minutes <br />Town Celebrations Committee <br />December 2, 2010 <br />Ellen Stone Room, Cary Hall <br /> <br />Members present <br />Suzie Barry, Dick Crogan, Linda Dixon, Jo-Anne Granger, Paul Jenkins, Sondra Lucente, Julie Miller, <br />Wayne Miller, Bill Mix, Henry Murphy, Sandy Podgorski, Charlie Price, Jim Shaw, Dave Taylor and Bob <br />Tracey <br /> <br />Members not present <br /> Mary Gillespie and John Rossi <br /> <br />Business <br /> <br />Suzie Barry called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm. <br /> <br /> <br />The December 18, 2010 minutes were approved with one change. <br /> <br /> <br />Patriots’ Day, Monday, April 18, 2011 <br />Reenactment <br />A Commission on Disabilities meeting is scheduled to discuss improving accessibility at the <br />reenactment. In addition, the Commission would like to secure a designated viewing place. <br />Suzie will be in touch with Bill Mix, Henry Liu, Paul O’Shaughnessy, Charlie Cole and the Police <br />Department. <br />Youth parade <br />Suzie will contact the Youth Commission regarding chief marshal and master of ceremony <br />participants. <br />Afternoon <br /> <br />Applications are trickling in. <br /> <br /> <br />Suzie will send an e-mail after Christmas to invitees who have not yet returned their <br /> <br />applications, reminding them that the deadline is January 3, 2011. <br /> <br />Aiden Evelyn, Lexington Police Honor Guard, would like to ask other police honor guards <br /> <br />to participate. <br /> <br />The float meeting is scheduled for 7:30 pm Thursday, January 6, 2011, room #207, Town <br /> <br />Office Building. Suzie will write to the Chamber of Commerce to ask if they will again <br />sponsor the contest and offer a prize. <br /> <br />
