<br />Minutes <br />Town Celebrations Committee <br />March 3, 2011 <br />Town Office Building, Room 111 <br /> <br />Members present <br />Suzie Barry, Dick Crogan, Linda Dixon, Mary Gillespie, Julie Miller, Wayne Miller, Bill Mix, Henry <br />Murphy, Sandy Podgorski, Charlie Price, Dave Taylor and Bob Tracey <br /> <br />Members not present <br /> John Rossi and Jim Shaw <br /> Jo-Anne Granger, Paul Jenkins, Sondra Lucente, <br /> <br />Business <br /> <br />Suzie Barry called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm. <br /> <br /> <br />The January 13, 2011 minutes were accepted. <br /> <br /> <br />Patriots’ Day, Monday, April 18, 2011 <br />Updates <br /> Bob Tracey <br /> <br />The VA Hospital will send its van for participation in the afternoon parade. <br /> <br /> <br />Middlesex County Sheriff’s office will let us know if they will send a group to <br /> <br />march. <br /> <br />Bob will call Tony Barrie to ask about his band’s participation. <br /> <br /> <br />A motion was made and accepted to include Boss Clowns in the afternoon <br /> <br />parade. <br /> <br />A motion was made and accepted to include the American Legion Band and its <br /> <br />trolley in the afternoon parade. <br />Linda Dixon <br /> <br />We do not have a clergyperson yet for the morning ceremony on the green. <br /> <br /> <br />Tufts ROTC will not march in the afternoon parade. <br /> <br /> <br />A National Guard marching unit will participate. <br /> <br />Dick Crogan <br /> <br />Regarding LHS student volunteers, Dick is waiting to hear from Lee Ann Swanson. <br /> <br /> <br />
