Lexington Human Rights Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 22, 2010 <br />Present: Albert Zabin, Bob Kent, Linda Vine, Fuang -Ping Huang, Deb Jackson, Melissa <br />Buttaro, Jessie Steigerwald, Gerald McLeod <br />Guests Art Katz and Norma Norland <br />Meeting was called to order at 8:05 am. <br />Minutes were approved as mailed <br />Norma Norland was introduced to the members. Norma was involved in the editing of <br />the interviews for Struggle for the Green and has agreed to co- facilitate the event with <br />Deb Jackson. <br />Panelists were discussed: <br />• Bob Cataldo who was chair of the Board of Selectmen will share his views on the <br />event. <br />• Art Katz and his daughter, Johanna will discuss their shared experience. <br />• Melissa will be a panel member to connect with the Lexington youth during the <br />discussion. <br />• Chairman Hank Manz will be asked to provide the opening remarks <br />Program up -date: <br />Bob: Jay Kauffman has been in contact with Senator Kerry's office on his availability to <br />participate in the program. <br />Deb: will follow up with Craig Hall on film editing progress, and together with Linda to <br />confirm with panel members and schedule a practice run. <br />Jessie & Melissa will work on the poster and program for the event <br />Melissa: continue to work with Music and History dept on their roles on the program. <br />Linda: follow up with media and coordinate with Public Facility for stage setups. <br />
