Lexington Human Rights Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 4, 2011 <br />Present: Albert Zabin, Bob Kent, Jessie Steigerwald, Fuang -Ping Huang, Linda Vine, <br />Michael McLean, Emily Lavine, and Leona Martin <br />Meeting was called to order at 8:10 am. <br />December, 2010's minutes were approved as mailed <br />No incident reported from Police Dept, Human Services or schools. <br />The Committee appointed a programming subcommittee to plan a fall program on Civil <br />Rights in Lexington during the 1960's. Leona, Bob, Jessie, Nancy and Fuang will form <br />the working group with possible assistance from a member of the Historical Society. The <br />group will plan a first meeting in March and report out in April. <br />Jessie has drafted the letter regarding HRC promotion, diversity and racial issues in <br />Lexington to Minuteman and will include the Fall event in the letter to promote it. <br />Next meeting is scheduled on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. in Selectman's Meeting <br />Room. At the April meeting we will hear a report of the Demographic Change Task <br />Force. <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:00 am. <br />
