6o -262 <br />Selectman's Meeting Minutes <br />February 12, 1996 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on Monday, February 12, ,1996 in the <br />Selectmen's Meeting Room, Town office Building at' 7; 3o p.m. Mr. McSweeney, Mr. Dailey, <br />Mr. Busa, Mr. Fenn, Mrs. Eddison; Mr. white, Town Manager; Mr. Cohen, Town Counsel <br />and Nis. Smith, Executive Clerk, were present. <br />Public Comments <br />Mr. McSweeney opened the meeting and asked for public comments during the first ten <br />minutes of the meeting. <br />Nis. Sue Cusack presented information material on the proposed Educational Technology <br />Bond Bill and asked the Board to consider sending a letter to our Legislators asking there to <br />support the Bill. The Board members indicated they would be happy to send a letter of <br />support to our Legislators. <br />American Red Cross Month <br />f <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to sign a proclamation declaring the <br />month of March 1996 American Red Cross Month in Lexington. <br />Warrant for the presidential Prim and the 1996 Annual Town Meetin <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to sign the warrant for the Presidential <br />Primary and for the 1996 Local Election and Town Meeting. <br />Mr. McSweeney indicated the Board will be having complete discussions of items on the <br />warrant in future meetings.. V <br />Selectmen's Gift Accounts <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to establish a Selectmen's Gift Account <br />for the establishment of a Senior Service Corps for the Council on Aging and to accept a gift <br />from the Raytheon Company in the amount of $5,000.00 to be deposited into the account. <br />Upon motion duly made_ and seconded, it was voted to establish a Selectmen's Gift Account <br />for the Fire Department. <br />License Renewals <br />3 <br />Upon -motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the applications of Steve's Ice <br />i <br />Cream, The Kitchen, Inc. and The Coffee Connection, Inc. for renweal of their conunon <br />victualler's license for 1996. <br />
