60 °94 <br />Selectmen's Meeting <br />August 8, 1994 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on Monday, August 8, 1994 in the <br />Selectmen's Meeting Room, Town Office Building, at 7:30 p.m. Chairman Dailey, Mr. <br />McSweeney, Mr. Busa, Mr. Penn, Mrs. Eddison; Mr. Cohen, Town Counsel; Mr. white, <br />Town Manager; Mrs. Novak, Assistant Town Manager- and Ms. Smith, Executive Clerk, were <br />present. <br />Tree_ Removal_ - 37 Pere Road <br />Parks and Trees Superintendent Brian Gilbert reported that a tree hearing had been conducted <br />on the removal of a 7" caliper Norway Maple from a grass strip in front of a garage addition <br />at the request of the L.ongo's at 37 Percy Road. The Longo's have agreed to donate $200.00 <br />to replace the tree with two 2.5 to 3" caliper trees. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the removal of the tree and <br />the replacement with two trees, the location of which is to be decided by Mr. Gilbert. <br />A ointment of Representative to CTPS Study Committee <br />Mr. Dailey read a letter from the Central Transportation Planning Staff asking the Board to <br />appoint a Lexington Representative to an advisory committee to CTPS to review their <br />progress to date and recommend further action on the plan to connect the Minuteman <br />Commuter Bikeway to the Dr. Paul Dudley white Bicycle Path. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to appoint Carolyn Devi of 60 Turning <br />Mill Road as Lexington's Representative to the Central Transportation Planning Staff Study <br />Committee to connect Minuteman Commuter Bikeway to the Dr. Paul Dudley white Bicycle <br />Path. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the minutes of the meetings <br />of July 25, 1994 and July 26, 1994. <br />Executive Session Minutes <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the Executive Session <br />Minutes of July 25, 1994 and July 26, 1994. <br />Proclamation -- Bob 1- Tilton A reciation Da <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to proclaim Sunday, August 14, 1994, as <br />Bob Milton Appreciatlon Day. <br />s <br />
