<br /> <br />Lexington Housing Partnership <br />Minutes for 30 November 2006 Meeting <br /> <br /> <br />Attendees: Julie Duncan, Ken Kreutziger, Bill Carlson, Florence Baturin, Inky MacDougall, <br />Martha Wood, Arthur Katz, Winifred McGowan, Iris Wheaton, Tom Harden, Bob Bicknell, <br />Betsey Weiss/ <br /> <br />The Minutes of the meeting held on 26 October 2006 were approved as written. <br /> <br />Deed Restriction Project Update: <br /> Bob is gathering together a committee of real estate people, <br />developers and bankers to discuss pertinent information with Judi Barrett concerning the deed <br />restrictions next week at 2pm on Dec 8 in room 111 Town Hall. Julie will attend from LHP. <br /> <br />On 13 December Bob Bicknell will be going to the CPA committee to talk about the $200,000 <br />request we submitted. Consultant Judi Barrett will attend with Bob. <br /> <br />SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS: <br /> <br />Communications - Florence Baturin <br /> -- They are still working on the text for the brochure. Hope <br />to have it ready for next meeting. <br />Zoning - Bob Bicknell <br /> - - Discussed an interfaith coalition that is working to get the proposed <br />bylaw passed. The Planning Board will be submitting it to Town Meeting next spring. <br />Web site development - Bob Bicknell <br /> –- Paul is working on it. The LHP website will be connected <br />to the website of the town. Bob will provide approved minutes for Paul to put on the site. <br />Foundation – report from Jeri Foutter <br /> - - Everything is going fine. Filings with the Secretary of <br />the Commonwealth are being submitted for past years. <br />Exploring Options - Iris Wheaton <br /> - - Brief discussion on Neighborhood Conservation project (list <br />of information sites from other communities will be sent to LHP members) and on the <br />situation regarding the house at St. Bridget’s <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br /> <br />LexHab - Martha Wood <br /> - - Martha told the committee about a situation LexHab is facing <br />regarding two homes they soon will be able to rent. An interesting discussion ensued about <br />the many factors (rental fees, income, advertisement, preferences, etc.) that LexHab uses to <br />qualify and select renters. <br /> <br />Avalon at Lexington Hills <br /> – Initial ads will probably go out this winter. Details will be coordinated <br />between the three towns and Avalon Bay in December. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 8:15 pm. <br /> <br />NEXT MEETING: <br /> Thurs., January 25, 2007, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Room G-15 in the Town Hall <br />1 <br />
