The meeting was called to order at
7:18 pm.

1. Open Meeting
The June and August minutes, as modified, were approved unanimously.

2. Sub-Committee Reports
Consortium of Local Towns Proposal to MHP – Mr. Bicknell
In anticipation of approval of the grant proposal, the Consortium has developed an RFP. The
RFP will solicit bids for a consultant to survey the Consortium towns and recommend a
structure to enable the towns to work together more effectively on affordable housing. Mr.
Bicknell will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding which establishes an oversight
body.

Continuation of Lexington Site Analysis
The 2001 list of potential properties for affordable housing development is available. It will
be reviewed to determine which properties are no longer available.

Report from Lexington Housing Foundation – Mr. Bicknell and Ms. Baturin
Fund raising results update: Mr. Bicknell and Ms. Baturin have been in touch with several
banks. Citizen’s Bank has agreed to provide a donation of $500.

3. Discussion of Survey and Define Report
Ms. Sunnarborg’s survey has been completed and was emailed to the Partnership membership. It
concludes that professional support is needed for affordable housing projects. The Town Manager
does not believe that the housing specialist’s salary should be paid from CPA funds. No other funds
are available for that position.

The next step is to distill the report and determine which programs are applicable to Lexington. Ms.
Sunnarborg will then help us develop a program for Lexington. The Partnership discussed the
report and agreed that we do not have enough time to develop a proposal for the CPC by Nov. 1.

The Partnership discussed the report. A sub-committee of the Partnership will be meeting with Ms.
Sunnarborg. Please contact Mr. Bicknell if you have any ideas for discussion at the meeting.

The next Lexington Housing Partnership meeting will be held on October 30, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm
in the Ellen Stone Room of Cary Hall.

The meeting was concluded at 8:39 pm
