PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br />MEETING OF APRIL 2, 2001 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board held in the Carpenter Room at the Museum of Our National <br />Heritage was called to order at 7:10 p.m. by Chairman Galaitsis with members Chase, Davies, Harden, Planning <br />Director Garber, and Assistant Planner McCall - Taylor present. Ms. Bridge- Denzak was absent. <br />****** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** MINUTES <br />Review of Minutes The Board postponed the review of the minutes for the meetings of March 26 and March <br />28, 2001 until the next meeting. <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** PLANNING DIRECTOR'S REPORT * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** <br />2001 Town Meeting, Procedures Mr. Garber reported that the zoning articles are expected to come before Town <br />Meeting on Wednesday, April 4. He explained the procedure for Town Meeting. The moderator will recognize <br />the Planning Board for its report after the presentation by the petitioner. The report on the Comprehensive Plan <br />will precede the zoning amendments and the moderator has indicated that she will postpone consideration of the <br />zoning articles if they come up after 10:00 p.m. <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** ARTICLES FOR 2001 TOWN MEETING * * * * * * * * * * * * ** * * * * * * * * * ** <br />Article 25, Sale of band to an Abutter The Board discussed Article 25 that deals with a sale of land at the <br />corner of 1~ollen Road and Marrett Road. While there will be a no -build restriction on the lot, Board members <br />were concerned that the restriction include the abutting lot, so that no additional building lot could be created by <br />the sale of this land to the abutter. Whether the land should remain in the hands of the Town was also discussed. <br />The Board decided to further consider this article at its next meeting. <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** PLANNING BOARD ORGANIZATION, SCHEDULE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** <br />Signature sheets for Registry of Deeds and Land Court As required by State statute the Board endorsed <br />signature sheets, required to be on file with the Registry of Deeds and the Land Court, reflecting the current <br />membership of the Board and staff members authorized to sign for the Board. <br />****** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** REPORTS ******** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** <br />Mr. Galaitsis said that when Town meeting is over he would like to revisit the residential FAR discussion. Mr. <br />Garber reported that was certainly a part of what would come out of the comprehensive plan.
