Capital Expenditures Committee (CEC) Meeting, November 3, 2009, 8:00 AM, Cary Memorial <br />Building, Stone Room <br />Members Present: David Kanter, Ted Edson (Vice - Chair), Charles Lamb (Chair), & Shirley Stolz <br />Member Absent: Bill Hurley <br />Others: George Burnell (Lexington Selectman), Rob Addelson (Assistance Town Manager for Finance <br />& Town Comptroller), Connie Rawson (Director, Cary Memorial Library), & Bill Middlemiss (Chief, <br />Lexington Fire Department [LFD]) <br />Discussion of Special Town Meeting g (STM) Article 5, Authorize Munroe School Disposition <br />Committee unanimously believes that there should have been a referendum on Munroe, and there <br />should have been an open Request for Proposal (RFP). <br />Presentation of Library's Material Handling & Workflow and Archives capital requests. <br />Discussion of STM Article 8, Contracts for Solar Energy <br />Motion: 5:0 Support of Article 8 report wording proposed by David Kanter. <br />Presentation of LFD capital requests by Chief Middlemiss. <br />Adjourn: 9:35 AM <br />These Minutes were approved by the CEC at its meeting on April 28, 2010. <br />
