Capital Expenditures Committee (CEC) Meeting, February 2, 2010, 8:00 AM, Town Office Building, <br />Room 111 <br />Members Present: David Kanter, Charles Lamb (Chair), & Ted Edson (Vice - Chair) <br />Members Absent: Shirley Stolz & Bill Hurley <br />Others: Mark Sandeen (Citizen Advocate for the Stretch Code), Dawn McKenna (Lexington Tourism <br />Committee), Duncan Hilton (Citizen Advocate for the Stretch Code), Jeanne Krieger (Selectman), <br />Rob Addelson (Assistant Town Manager for Finance & Town Comptroller) <br />Discussion of Battle Green Master Plan Study <br />$2.25K of the requested $25K is for contingencies. $8.5K is for bid documents and plans, and $2.5K is <br />for report for phased implementation (including attending meetings); all of those amounts probably <br />won't be needed. <br />Recommendation: Support $25K, but express our concerns in our report about the bid - related and <br />implementation allocations. <br />Presentation of Stretch Code by Mark Sandeen followed by discussion. <br />Adjourn: 10:15 AM <br />These Minutes were approved by the CEC at its meeting on April 28, 2010. <br />
