The Minutemen will add an additional volley after the playing of the last service

song.

Afternoon parade

We will march on Monday regardless of weather.

Middlesex County Sheriff DiPaola asked if he could include a truck and dogs and

distribute stickers to spectators. All three requests were denied.

As of this meeting, we do not have enough banner bearers, though there has

been plenty of publicity requesting volunteers. Mary Gillespie offered to go to
Fiske School to recruit.

A truck will be available at the town pool parking lot for banner collection.

Two food vendors will be stationed in East Lexington prior to the beginning of

the parade.

Due to illness, the Oxford Majorettes cannot participate this year.

The Cycling Murrays would like to enter the parade for a fee of $750. The

committee unanimously voted to not accept them.

Wilson Farm will include its tractor in the parade. Their float will be entered in

cooperation with the League of Women Voters.

Memorial Day

In case of rain, we have permission to use Cary Hall for the event.

A Hanscom AFB clergy member has been asked to do the invocation and

convocation.

The VA hospital administrator has been asked to be the guest speaker.

The committee is still discussing selection of a chief marshal.

Meeting adjourned at 8:40 pm.

Submitted by Sandy Podgorski
