u <br />q <br />t <br />SELECTMEN'S MEETING } <br />September 1 1988 <br />A meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on Thursday, September <br />1, 1988, in the Selectmen's Meeting Room, Town Office Building, at 7 :30 <br />a.m. Chairman Smith, Mr. Marshall, Mr. McSweeney, Mr. White, Town <br />Manager; Mr, Cohen, Town Counsel, were present. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 3 - 0 by roll call <br />vote, Mrs. Smith, Mr. Marshall, Mr. McSweeney, to go into Executive <br />Session for discussion of land negotiations with the intent to resume <br />open session in approximately 45 minutes. <br />At 8 :15 a.m., upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to <br />resume open session. <br />PINE MEADOWS <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously voted to <br />approve the sale of $10,000,000 Bond Anticipation Notes of the Town <br />dated September 2, 1988, payable March 2, 1989, at par and accrued <br />interest plus the premiums, if any, indicated as follows: <br />Interest <br />Numbers Denomination Rate Premium Purchaser <br />1 to 70 $100,000 6,22% -- State Street <br />71 to 190 $25,000 Bank & Trust Co. <br />Further Voted: that the provisions of G.L. c.44, ss23 to 24A, 26 <br />and 27 shall not apply to this issue of notes and it is hereby confirmed <br />that the treasurer has solicited proposals for the notes from at least <br />three financial institutions. <br />Further Voted; to confirm the consent dated Augur-- 31, 1988 to the <br />certifying bank bidding for the notes. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn at 8 :30 <br />a.m. <br />It <br />A true record, Attest: <br />Nrman P.
