<br />July 11, 1988
<br />A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on Monday,
<br />July 11, 1988, in the Selectmen's Meeting Room, Town office Building, at
<br />7 :00 p.m. Chairman Smith, Mr, Dailey, Mr. McSweeney; Mr. White, Town
<br />Manager; Mr. Cohen, Town Counsel; Mrs. Snow, Executive Clerk were
<br />present.
<br />CLASS I, LEXINGTON SUBARU, INC.
<br />The Board reviewed the application of Charles Arbeene, who was
<br />present, for approval of Class I License for Lexington Subaru.
<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the
<br />application of Charles Arbeene , Autumn Leaf Lane, Westford, MA on behalf
<br />of Lexington Subaru, Inc., 381 Marrett Road, for Class I License to sell
<br />second hand automobiles in conjunction with his Subaru Auto dealership
<br />at that address.
<br />CLASS I, AUTO ENGINEERING, LTD PARTNERSHIP
<br />The application of Auto Engineering by Stephen E. McLane, General
<br />Partner, for approval of Class I License for Auto Engineering, was
<br />reviewed.
<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the
<br />application of Stephen E. McLane, Sole General Partner, Burnham Court,
<br />Manchester, MA, on behalf of Auto Engineering Ltd. Partnership, 436
<br />Marrett Road, for Class I License to sell second hand automobiles in
<br />conjunction with his Mercedes- Benz /BMW dealership at that address.
<br />ABATEMENT, WATER /SEWER CHARGES
<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the
<br />abatement of Sewer Charges, in the total amount of $1,089.58, and
<br />$229.60; and abatement of Water Charges in the total amount of
<br />$1,123.36, and $212.380
<br />CONSENT AGENDA
<br />COMMITMENT OF CHARGES
<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve
<br />commitment of the following fees and charges 's
<br />Street opening Permit fees in the amount of $150.00
<br />Sewer Charges, Estabrook School in the amount of $400.00
<br />Water Charges in the amount of $25.00
<br />Cycle 9 Water Charges in the amount of $55,445.86
<br />Sewer Rental, 2nd Quarter in the amount of $750.00
<br />STREET RESURFACING CONTRACT
<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to execute
<br />Contract #89 -1, Street Resurfacing, in the amount of $631,455.00,
<br />awarded on June 20, 1988, to Middlesex Corporation, 17 Progress Avenue,
<br />Chelmsford.
<br />DRAIN CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to execute
<br />Contract #89 -3, Drain Construction, Westview Cemetery, in the amount of
<br />$62,492.35, awarded on June 20, 1988, to C.J. Mabardy, Inc., 50 Mooney
<br />St., Cambridge.
