SELECTMEN'S MEETING <br />f November 4, 1988 <br />A regular meting of the Board of Selectmen was held on Tuesday, <br />November 4, 1986, in the Selectmen's Meeting Room, Town Office Building, at <br />7:34 p.m. Chairman Eddison, Mr. Marshall, Mr. Dailey, Mrs. Smith, Mr. <br />McSweeney; Mr. Hutchinson, Town Manager; Ms. Adler, Assistant to the Town <br />Manager; Mrs. Snow, Executive Clark, were present. <br />PUBLIC HEARING BOSTON EDISON MASS. AVENUE <br />The Chairman opened a Public Hearing on the petition of Boston Edison <br />Company for permission to install conduit in Massachusetts Avenue, Mr. <br />Robert Malis, representing the Edison Company, explained the need for the <br />installation to increase electrical service to Lexington Toyota at $409 <br />Mass. Avenue. <br />Mr. Eddison noted the recommendation in favor of approval of the <br />petitition from Walter J. Tonaszuck, Director /Public Works, Engr. <br />There being no further statements in favor or in opposition, Mr. <br />Eddison declared the hearing closed. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the <br />' petition, plans and orders of Boston Edison Company for a grant of location <br />for conduit in Massachusetts Avenue, as follows: <br />northeasterly approximately 705 feet northwest of Lisbeth Street, a <br />distance-of about 13 feet,, <br />PUBLIC HEARING.r BOSTON EDISO.N BRIDGE STREET <br />Mr. Eddison opened a Public Hearing on the petition of Boston Edison <br />Company for permission to install conduit in Bridge Street. Mr. Malis <br />informed the Board that the work is necessary to provide electric service to <br />Lots 1, 2, and 3 Valleyfield Road. <br />Mr. Tonaszuck's memo, recommending approval of the petition, was noted. <br />There being no comments in favor or in opposition, the Chairman <br />declared the hearing closed. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the <br />petition, plans and orders of Boston Edison Company for a grant of location <br />for conduit in Bridge Street as follows: <br />Easterly approximately 822 feet west of Waltham Street, a distance of <br />about 28 feet. <br />PUBLIC HEARING NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE COS HARTWELL AVENUE <br />Mr. Eddison opened a Public Hearing on the petition of New England <br />Telephone Company for permission to install conduit in Hartwell Avenue. Mr. <br />William McCart, representing the Telephone Company, explained that the <br />installation was needed to provide increased service to that area. <br />Mr. Eddison noted Mr. Tonaszuck's memo recommending approval and <br />suggesting certain conditions which Mr. McCart agreed would be complied <br />with. <br />
