r <br />x k.a <br />SELECTMEN'S MEETING <br />APPOINTMENT TO POLICE MANUAL POLICY COMMITT <br />April 2, 1986 <br />J <br />A regular meeting the Board of Selectmen was held on Wednesday, <br />April 2, 1886, in the Selectmen's Meeting Room, Town Office Building, at <br />7:08 p.m. Acting Chairman Eddison, Mr. Dailey, Mrs. Smith, Mr. McSweeney; <br />Mr. Hutchinson, Town Managers Mr. Cohen, Town Counsel; Mrs. Snow, Executive <br />Clerk, were present. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to appoint William Js <br />Dailey, Jr. as a member of the Police Manual Policy Committee, to fill the <br />unexpired term of John F. McLaughlin to September 84, 1986. <br />APPOINTMENT TO LEXINGTON COUNCIL FOR THE ARTS <br />Upon motion duly rude and seconded, it was voted to appoint Robert <br />Sartside, 20 Loring Roads to the Lexington Council for the Arts, to fill the <br />unexpired term of Austin Lee to September 90, 1986. Mr. Cartside's <br />appointment will be effective as of the date of Mr. Lee's resignation, not <br />as yet tendered. <br />QNE DAY LIQUQR LICENSE. ARTS /LEXINGTON <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the <br />application of Arts /Lexington, Inc. for One Day Liquor License on April 12, <br />1986,. in Estabrook Hall, Cary Memorial Building and to permit service of <br />wine at that location following a concert. <br />WARRANT ARTICLES REVIEW <br />Mr. Hutchinson reviewed status and procedures on articles beginning <br />with Article 5, Salary Adjustments and Collective Bargaining Settlements, <br />through Article 1 8, Sewer Pump Station Energy Improvements, <br />Regarding Article Z6 Topographic Maps, the Selectmen had voted 8 - Z <br />for indefinite postponement. If Article 26 comes upon April 2 the Planning <br />Board will ask for postponement to April 7th to present a substitute motion <br />requesting the appropriation The intent to take up articles in order b <br />the Planning Board was pointed out by Mr. Dailey and Mr. McSweeney who were <br />not in favor of the postponement. Since the Planning Board has been heavily <br />involved with zoning articles, Mr. Eddison felt that it would be appropriate <br />to allow this departure from the schedule. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn at 7:45 <br />p.m. <br />A true record, Attest: <br />ri n H. s ow <br />�� _ Executive clerk <br />
