pow <br />SELELCTMEN'S MEETING <br />3 JANUARY 13, 1986 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on Monda January <br />y' y 3, <br />198 <br />in the Selectmen's Meeting Room, Town Office Building, at 7:30 p.m. <br />Chairman Marshall, Mrs. Battin, Mr. McLaughlin, Mr. Eddison, Mr. Dailey; ; Mr. <br />Hutchinson, Town Manager; Mr ='Cohen Town CO'unsel; Ms. Adler, Asst. to the <br />Town Manager; Mrs. Snow Clerk, were present. <br />CORY'S OF LEXINGTONs INC. <br />Petitions of Cory's of Lexington, Inc. for change of officers, change <br />of Manager and transfer of stock were noted by Mr. Marshall, Mr. Charles <br />Eldred, owner and current President introduced proposed officers in the <br />Corporation and the new Manager and Acting Manager and explained the <br />IONK requests for changes under Cory's Restaurant Liquor License. He stated that <br />the operation, exterior and interior appearances and name of the restaurant <br />will be unchanged. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the <br />application of Cory's of Lexington, Inc. d /b /a Cory's of Lexington, 20 <br />Waltham Street, and petitions for change of Manager from Robert Montague to <br />Gary W. Meson; transfer of stock ( 100 shares) from Neil R. Schauer, Charles <br />Eldred, Robert G. Montague and Monok Yarian to Stephen V. Miller, Robert J. <br />Mutrie, Albert H. Surprenant and Gary W. Dleson; and change of officers as <br />follows: <br />Stephen V. Miller, President (director) <br />Albert H. Surprenant, Treasurer (director) <br />Robert.J. Mutrie, Clerk (director) <br />MINUTES <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the minutes <br />of the Selectmen's Meeting on December 16, 1985, as presented. <br />HOLLAND /ESTOW DOG HEARING <br />Mr. Dailey reported on procedures at the January 3rd Hearing on the <br />Holland /Estow dog complaint. Police Chief Furdon, who will under new State <br />Law take over such matters in the future, attended the Hearing. Mr. Dailey <br />noted Mr. Holland's complaints that the Estow dog had been running loose, <br />causing minor damage on his property and barking excessively. Mrs Estow had <br />'` refuted these charges and had produced letters from other nearby neighbors <br />attesting to the dog's good behavior, Mr. Dailey said that efforts by Mr. <br />Estow in the past few weeks to restrain his dog and control its barkin g had <br />been acknowledged by Mr, Holland, who had requested appropriate Town <br />intervention to assure that this situation would continue. <br />
