<br />Minutes <br />Town Celebrations Committee <br />February 3, 2010 <br />Room G-15, Town Hall @ 7:15 pm <br /> <br />Members present <br />Suzie Barry, Sally Fisher, Paul Jenkins, Bill Mix, Julie Miller and Sandy Podgorski <br />Not present <br />Mary Gillespie, Jo-Anne Granger, Sondra Lucente, Jerry Michelson, Henry Murphy, Charlie Price, <br />John Rossi, Jim Shaw and Bob Tracey <br /> Business <br /> <br />Suzie Barry called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm. <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes of the January 27, 2010 and February 3, 2010 meetings were distributed. <br /> <br />Without a quorum, the minutes could not be approved and will, therefore, be held for <br />reading and approval on February 24, 2010. <br /> <br />Patriots’ Day 2010 <br /> <br />Floats <br />st <br /> <br />Parade participation deadline is March 1. The Youth Commission’s application <br /> <br />was the first to arrive. <br /> <br />A guest at the floats meeting held on January 27, 2010 asked about liability. <br /> <br />Suzie will look into the matter. <br /> <br />Available trucks – (1) Paul Jenkins’ contact, Doug Orr, will lend a truck for the <br /> <br />day, (2) Matt Foti can provide a 40-ft step deck truck and (3) Jerry Michelson’s <br />contact has a truck for use as well. <br /> <br />Publicity – Paul Waxman of LexIsMore will send its e-mail within the next week <br /> <br />and will include float information. <br /> <br />Fitzgerald Award <br />Bill Mix will follow up with Billie Fitzgerald and share his conversation with her at our <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />
