<br />Minutes <br />Town Celebrations Committee <br />January 20, 2010 <br />Room G-15, Town Hall @ 7:15 pm <br /> <br />Members present <br />Suzie Barry, Jo-Anne Granger, Bill Mix, Henry Murphy, Sandy Podgorski, Charlie Price, and Bob <br />Tracey <br />Not present <br />Sally Fisher, Mary Gillespie, Paul Jenkins, Sondra Lucente, Jerry Michelson, Julie Miller, John <br />Rossi and Jim Shaw <br /> Business <br /> <br />Suzie Barry called the meeting to order at 7:25 pm. <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes of the January 13, 2010 meeting were read and approved. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Patriots’ Day 2010 <br /> <br />Suzie met with Wayne Brooks and David Pinsonneault at the DPW to discuss sound <br />issues at the reenactment. They will consider redirecting the speakers for better <br />projection. <br /> <br />Floats <br />th <br /> <br />The float workshop meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 27, in Town <br /> <br />Hall Room 207 at 7:30 pm. Eighty float applications were mailed; the workshop <br />meeting notice will be posted on the town and The Lexington Minuteman <br />websites and in The Colonial Times. <br />th <br /> <br />Regarding truck use, Suzie asked that calls be made prior to the January 27 <br /> <br />meeting to local companies asking if they would be willing to donate use of their <br />flatbeds (and a driver) to transport floats at the afternoon parade. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
