Resurf ' g <br />Mr. Perry, Comptroller, introduced Jim Russell, Arthur Andersen & Co. Auditors <br />to report on his f firm's audit of the Town for FY' He reported that the report <br />Town continues to be in sound financial condition and reviewed results of <br />examination of the Town's FY'84 financial statements, as presented in a docu- <br />ment entitled "Financial Statements as of June 30, 1984, Together with <br />Auditors' Report ". He noted that the closing of the books- and auditing pro- <br />cess had gone smoothly, and that no material weaknesses are evident. He was <br />pleased with forward thinking practices employed and felt that results were <br />particularly noteworthy since the Town has new people in key positions, i.e. <br />turnover in the Town Treasurer and Assistant Comptroller positions. <br />In review of the "Memorandum on Accounting Procedures, Internal Controls <br />and other Matters" dated June 30, 1984, Mr. Russell commented on new pro-- <br />
