Counsel and Miss Adler <br />Assistant, to the Town Manager were present. <br />Mr. Politi opened the hearing on-application b y Middlesex County Gas .Storage <br />Hospital for storage of flammable fluids in an underground tank <br />g with Middlesex <br />a capacity of .2, 000 gallons, to be installed on the premises in add- <br />underground ' Hvsp. <br />ition to an existing g gasoline storage tank with a capacity <br />of 1, 0 - 00 gallons. . <br />Mr. Mario D iNallo was present to present the plan for the installa- <br />tion of a steel tank to contain unleaded gasoline, for use of hospital <br />vehicles. <br />Mr. Politi noted the recommendations. of Fire Chief Ber eron <br />recommending approval of the license and W. i <br />a Clifford Prentiss, Con- <br />servation Director, in which he stated that the installation would os <br />no threat to wetlands. Report from George Smith Heal th Director , P e <br />, <br />advising, that precautions regarding spills be taken for the r <br />of the hospital patients. <br />p otection <br />There being no further statements in favor or in o ' <br />position, Mr. <br />Politi declared the hearing. closed. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was. voted to approve the <br />application for the installation on . one 2 Doo underground PP <br />tank for <br />gasoline storage on the premises of the Middlesex Count Hospital <br />Concord Avenue, Lexington. y ' <br />Permission was granted with. the und.erstandin th • <br />regulations contained in Massachusetts .that all applicable <br />sachuset t s Regulat ions 527, Sections 9 and 14 <br />must be complied with, and the site inspected by the Fire Department <br />to covering of the tanks.. P ent prior <br />Mrs. Tina Forbes, Lexington Council for the Arts , was resent • <br />P to Council,Arts <br />request appointment to the Council of Mary Anne Armstrong , ' f or a term. <br />to expire on May 31, 1986.
