<br />Minutes CPC 11/29/07 <br /> <br /> <br />Present: Sandy Shaw, Norman Cohen, Joel Adler, Marilyn <br />Fenollosa, Betsey Weiss, Richard Pagett, Leo McSweeney, Wendy <br />Mantz, Dick Wolk <br />Meeting Secretary; Dick Wolk <br /> <br />Presentations: <br /> <br />Old Reservoir: $55,000 <br />Project; Mike Flamang and Dave Pinsonneault presented the project <br />to reconstruct the gatehouse control and spillway to control the reservoir <br />water level and water run off. <br />Rationale; To prevent loss of property to dam and down stream <br />property from flooding. <br /> <br />Fire Station: $40,000 <br /> Project; Chief Middlemiss Study to examine space utilization and <br />design of entire fire station. <br /> Rationale; Enhance the utility of an historic and rehabilitate it using <br />extraordinary repairs. <br /> N.B. Discussion regarding use of last year’s utilization occurred. <br /> <br />East Lexington Fire Station: $57,500 <br /> Project; To add central air conditioning 29.5K and new windows 18K <br /> Rationale; Enhance utility and rehabilitate historic building by <br />extraordinary repairs. <br /> <br />Town Office Complex: $127,000 Peter Chalpin and Bill Hadley presented <br />the project. <br /> Project; New storm windows.- estimate only <br /> Rationale; Enhance utility, and rehabilitate historic building by <br />extraordinary repairs. <br /> <br />Senior Center: Marian Cohen, Paul LaPointe, and Lauren McSweeney <br />presented the project. <br />Amount unknown, awaiting results of last year’s study <br /> <br />
