SELECTMEN'S MEETING <br />January 4, 1993 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on <br />Monday, January 4, 1993, in the Selectmen's Meeting Room, Town <br />Office Building, at 7 :30 p.m. Chairman Smith, Mr. Marshall, Mr. <br />Eddison, Mr. Dailey, Mr. McSweeney; Mr Cohen, Town Counsel; Mr. <br />White, Town Manager; Mrs. Novak, Assistant Town Manager; and Mrs. <br />Peters, Executive Clerk, were present. <br />Fr6aN&& "_2 nrQ <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve <br />the minutes for the meeting of Nov. 30, 1992. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve <br />the minutes for Executive Sessions held on November 30, and <br />December 14, 1992. <br />PACKAGE STORE LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL <br />Mr. Cohen noted that the ABCC Renewal Application and Liquor <br />License for the 1775 wine & Spirit Shop could be signed by the <br />Board. The owner, Mrs. Argentina Arias, was present and apolo- <br />gized for not returning the renewal application in November, as <br />required by State statute, and for the inconvenience it had <br />caused the Beard. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to sign the <br />late -filed Liquor License Renewal Application and to endorse the <br />Liquor License for the 1775 Wine & Spirit Shop Package Store at <br />1707 --R Massachusetts Avenue. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />COMMITMENTS <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve <br />the following commitments: <br />Commitment of water Charges - December 1992 $199.38 <br />Commitment of Sewer Charges - December 1992 $183.27 <br />ABATEMENTS <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve <br />the following abatements: <br />Abatements: water, Sewer & Demand - 12/14/92 $1 <br />Abatements: Water, Sewer -- 12/22/92 $4 <br />TRAFFIC ITEMS <br />wow Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to refer <br />the following requests to the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee: <br />1) request for reconsideration of relocation of "Stop" <br />signs at intersection of Roosevelt and Wilson Sts. <br />2) request concerning traffic conditions at the Marrett <br />Road /Mass. Avenue /Minuteman Tech 'Intersection at the <br />end of the workday. <br />
